Safety slide

Fortress Interlocks (www.fortressinterlocks.com) introduced a new design for its safety slide that controls access to enclosed areas or to machines. The safety slide is designed for use with the company's AutoStop gate switch unit and has an actuator at its head. When the door is closed, a bar on the safety slide is pushed until the actuator tongue engages with the AutoStop unit, allowing power to be turned on to the machine. When the bar is retracted, the actuator is removed, turning off the power and allowing the door to be opened. The safety slide also includes-padlock holes for lock-out operationsand an internal release handle.
