Cutting gantry

ESAB Welding & Cutting Products (www.esabna.com) has introduced a gantry cutting machine that covers 8 ft. to 16 ft. widths. The CNC gantry is designed to carry plasma or oxyfuel torches and bevel heads and provides positioning accuracy of 0.015 in. over a 6 ft. x 6 ft. area and repeatability of <\#177> 0.005 in. The Avenger X has a stiff, welded structure because it is fabricated from two steel tubes with welded stiffener plates.
