Wire-feeder boosts productivity

Miller Electric Mfg. Co. (www.millerwelds.com) has introduced a wire feeder system that the company says boosts productivity by handling aluminum, steel and stainless steel wires in industrial applications without wire buckling, kinking and bird-nesting. The four models in the 75 series of wire feeders are equipped with a new version of Miller's Accu-Mate connection to secure the Bernard Q-Gun power pin assembly to the precision wire drive assembly. This assembly has guides that nestle into the drive rolls to maintain support through the entire wire path. The company says the wire feeders require minimal setup time and are compatible with any constant voltage power source with a 14-pin connection.
