Durham Manufacturing Co. (www.durhammfg.com) has int roduc ed a revamped line of gas cylinder storage cabinets that is in compliance with OSHA and NFPA standards.

The line consists of six models of cabinets for the storage of most types of compressed air/gas cylinders and tanks.

Two models are designed to accommodate vertical cylinders, three models are designed for LPG cylinders and one Products model can be used for both vertical and horizontal cylinders.

Vertical models can hold 9 or 18 standard vertical cylinders to 59.75-in. high, and have a chain that is adjustable in one-inch increments to hold cylinders in place.

Horizontal models can hold 4, 8 or 16, 20-lb and 33.5-lb cylinders on sloped cradle racks. The racks are sloped to provide a sure hold.

The combination model can handle nine vertical cylinders or eight horizontal cylinders.

All models are shipped fully assembled. They are made with expanded metal sides, backs and doors for visibility of content. Tops and bases are fabricated of 14-gauge solid steel and frames of 1.5-in. angle iron. Heavyduty butt hinges keep doors from sagging and are fitted with padlock hasps (padlocks are not included). Magnetic catches in doorways keep doors shut when not locked.

Signs that read “Danger Flammable Materials” are riveted to the doors. Legs with lag holes are provided to permit securing cabinets to the floor. The finish on the cabinets is a durable safety yellow powder coating.

Durham Manufacturing also has introduced two new super size storage cabinets for storing large, bulky items.

These new bins are being offered in two versions, with and without doors, for a variety of storage and organization applications in the factory and warehouse.

The company said its Model 329-95 is the “without doors” model. It provides visible access to its contents, and makes the contents easily accessible.

The Model 338-95 has doors. This model has a hasp for a padlock (not furnished) when security is important. Lips at the base of each bin opening provide space for labeling contents.

The bins are shipped fully assembled, and are fabricated of prime, cold rolled steel. They are all welded, and measure 33.75-in. wide by 22.5-in. high by 12.375-in. deep. Each of the four compartments measure 16.25-in. wide by 11.875-in. high by 12-in. deep.

The storage bins are modularly designed, and can stack vertically or arrange horizontally. The finish on the bins is rust and corrosion resistant durable gray powder coat.
