Valves for helium and other gases

MK series valves with PowerTube technology from Co-Ax Valves Inc. (www.coaxvalves.com) are designed to provide fast (25 ms, depending on size) bubble-tight positive shut off for applications where leaks cannot be tolerated, or where leak-testing is a prerequisite. The MK 10, available as a normally closed or normally open valve, accommodates pressure imbalances in either direction without requiring check valves. This feature further reduces process complexity, simplifies test stand design and maintenance and reduces the initial cost of OEM design and manufacture. Integral actuators help make MK series coaxial valves a compact, low profile alternative to conventional solenoid valves on many gases in addition to helium.
